a new view

As a girl woman who has had a blog off and on for around 10 years I have decided that it is time to come back and have a real meaningful blog. One in which I share my personal life a little bit more. I don't think we woman share enough of the amazing things we do in life. Yes we share what we are wearing or who we are wearing, what trend we love and why... I get that. But I want to share more of a RAW life.

I am a first time mother and I have been told time and time again how much people appreciate my honesty about the struggles of being a mom and I should write about them. Did you know people have a very skewed view of parenthood? So here are some of the things I will talk about...
How did I manage to work up until I went into labor?
How did I manage as a already plus size woman to only gain 17lbs. while pregnant?
How and why did I have a natural unmedicated birth?
Why do I breastfeed?
How did going back to work (in my favorite industry) really not bring me back to my old self it just made me long for being a mother that much more?
How I struggle with working out and losing and gaining weight.
How there are days (much like today) where I cant even walk through Target without a meltdown from my little one because she doesn't want to sit in the cart, have me hold her or want to hold on.

But I will also toss in a few Pat on the back post about the fun things I get to do as a HAIR/MAKEUP ARTIST, CLOTHING DESIGNER, KNITTER, & MAKER OF THINGS.
Mind you these are things I am trained in and are merely my own views and love of things. I want to share my knowledge with people on a lot of DIY things that can happen in this world.
So I will share some...
videos or fun quick hair and makeup looks (you know for the super busy woman)
how to...make a quick healthy meal
how my kid make me crazy, made me laugh, made me cry, made me love her even more
ways I spend my day making things
ways I try to stay in shape so I feel good about my body

I hope you will enjoy this new journey I am on and also follow along with me. I am an open book so please feel free to ask me questions. Things may or may not get "graphic" so please be advised in advance.
